Experience

Keith Lomason has nearly four decades of experience in management and advisory roles in green energy and automotive parts and services industries on two continents, including 10 years in the USA and 28 in China. After joining his family company in 1985 (Douglas & Lomason Co., est 1902), Keith spent time in finance, quality, sales, and factory management, eventually moving to Shanghai in 1996 to establish the company’s first overseas operation, a 50/50 joint venture focused on manufacturing seat frames and seats complete for the China & USA markets. Later in 1996, Magna International acquired D&L, including the 50% ownership of the JV. Keith continued to manage the seat factory for 8 years before being asked to create and lead Business Development activities in China for all 10 Magna International product groups. During the next 5 years, under Keith’s guidance and advice, Magna grew from three factories under two business units in China to nine of ten groups with 13 factories, three engineering centers and - very rare within Magna - a country headquarters shared by all groups.

After leaving Magna in 2009, Keith managed the China offices of EPCM firm The PAC Group; the UK automotive data firm JATO Dynamics; managed the domestic and international growth plans for a Chinese aftermarket auto parts supplier; and assisted in the start-up phase of New Energy vehicle company, Human Horizons.

In 2018, Keith established Lomason Consulting, and in 2022 co-founded KPI Suzhou Renewable Energy Co. as an EPC & Funding enterprise focused on green energy projects.
